Eid-el-Fitr: ASUSS Celebrates Muslim Teachers, Prays for Peace and Joy

Abuja, Nigeria – The Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS) has extended warm congratulations to Muslim teachers and education stakeholders across the country on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement signed by the Secretary-General of ASUSS, Comrade Sola Adigun, the union's National Administrative Council (NAC) expressed its joy in celebrating with Muslim comrades who have observed a period of fasting, devotion, and spiritual reflection.

"It is on this note that we celebrate and congratulate our Muslim comrades across the country for witnessing this very important and joyful moment," the statement read. "It is our prayer that this Eid-el-Fitr will truly be a joyful occasion filled with love, peace, and happiness."

ASUSS also wished all Muslim faithful continued blessings, good health, and prosperity, emphasizing the importance of unity and harmony in the education sector and beyond.

The union reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for teachers of all faiths, while advocating for improved welfare and educational policies nationwide.
